Thank you, Dr. Dean. Thank you, Dean Supporters.
Full Disclosure: I was a Clark supporter, but Dean was my 2nd choice for the same reason. Both men directly challenged the Bushevik Lie Machine and both men wouldn't back down.

Between the two, in my mind there is no comparison of whom we owe the greatest debt.

And it is Dr. Dean.

Dr. Dean, who showed the Democrats what Paul Wellstone was showing them (us) before he was assassinated, which is that evil must be opposed LOUDLY, and it must not be allowed to intimidate.

Dr. Dean, who stood up and challenegd "the Matrix" or as I like to call it the Corporate TV Pravda floating in the scummy wake of the Party-Loyal Bushevik Sub-Media.

Dr. Dean, who told the media he was going to restore their integrity (not in so many words) through de-consolidation and re-regulation, and was crucified for it. In fact, Corporate TV Pravda actually showed embarrassment (a rare thing indeed) over their grotesque overkill of the "Dean Scream" at the most crucial juncture when the great mass of ill-informed voters (look at the media that serves us and it's no wonder) were making their final decisions on flimsy information.

So, at least they do, at long last, have the tiniest modicum of shame, the purveyors of Corporate TV Pravda.

I have already sent Dr. Dean a note telling him this, and I would suggest everyone here with the will and the time who agrees with me to do the same.

One last time: Thank you, Dr. Dean.

2. You know, he's still on the ballot.
Since he is not going to be the nominee...

Why not cast him a vote(if you haven't voted yet) during the primaries?

It won't hurt Kerry or Edwards.

4. Good point.
Considering Clark will not be there I will certainly give it some thought.

5. Man, I can't believe this sunk so quickly!
No one believes we owe Dr. Dean a debt of gratitutde, whether we supported him directly or not?

11. I do.
Unfortunately I think a lot of Dean supporters are disgusted with the vulture mentality they've seen so I;ve sort of been shutting up and letting them be.

6. Dean sent us e-mails asking for us to still vote for him!
He has not withdrawn, just not campaigning. So vote for him. He is second in delegates and the more delegates he gets, his and our voices will not be quieted!

He was killed by the "powers that be" and the media. They cannot let the masses change things!

The media which was embedded with him gave him a T-Shirt which said:
ESTABLISHMENT MEDIA on the back
WE GOT THE POWER on the front.

Says it all!

8. Thank you Dr. Dean and may I
ask that you stay on standby because regardless of whether they admit or acknowledge it now your country needs you in the worst of ways. The spinal transplant that you performed will need many anti rejection shots and still the patient(Dem Party) may not survive. Hang tight Doctor!

12. Great analogy.
I'm not sure if I am rooting for the patient to live or die at this point, but leaning toward die. Out of the ashes (after the DNC and RNC merge) we can forge a new Party.

OTOH, I might be persuaded to stay and try to change this corrupt Party to something decent, but this year it's Dean write-in for me.

18. Great post. Thank you.

Dr. Dean expressed my anger when the Pink Tutu Democrats were hiding under desks and behind George W. Bush's legs. It took a leader like Dean to show them the way, but once he took the bit, they followed right along. We owe Dr. Dean for showing those Democrats they didn't have to be cowards anymore.
