WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Thousands of supporters,
political activists, and other interested citizens are expected to dial in
Monday (tomorrow) evening to a nationwide conference call to hear
Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich explain why and how he
plans to force an up-or-down vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on
the impeachment resolution against Vice President Richard B. Cheney.
Last week, the Ohio Congressman announced that he will be offering a
"privileged resolution" on Tuesday, November 6, that will, within two days,
require House members to vote on what to do with the impeachment measure,
which currently has 22 sponsors. Dozens of supportive organizations have
advised the Kucinich campaign that they will be lobbying Congressional
representatives heavily over the next few days to support the Ohio
Congressman impeachment resolution (House Resolution 333).
The conference call is expected to begin at about 7:30 p.m. ET on
Monday. It will be open to anyone, including representatives of the news
media. Additional details will be posted on the campaign website,

I reside in a blood red part of a blue state. My congressman is a Bush/Cheney lackey of the highest order. X( (the DIShonorable Devin Nunes - 21st Dist. of CA.)

Still, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't at least call and lodge my wishes with my reps office. While my rep's probably busy counting out his next contribution to the Tom Delay defense fund, he at least knows he doesn't speak for me in 99% of his actions.

Please support Rep. Kucinich's personal privilege introduction of H. Res 333, to impeach VP Richard B Cheney. This is an oversight issue. The executive wing has gone too far in their gradual erosion of Constitutional provisions of control on numerous issues in this country. Signing statements, mercenarial military tactics, vetoing of the programs that concern middle-class Americans, infiltrating the judiciary--there are multiple ways this administration has over-stepped its bounds in the governing of the US.
I am concerned about increasing attempts to institute oligarchical, corporate control originating in the Vice President's office.

24. I had already notified my rep Mike Doyle of this event upcoming

in the house last week and had even given him a link to read up on it further. I did ask him to vote for impeachment and had even sent him a reminder with a side note about the attorney general nominee situation he needs to vote against. He is usually pretty good about doing the right thing, but in my opinion he needs to be more assertive like so many of our Democratic reps need to be.
