3. I'm perpetually offended by people who are offended by questions

People that consistently flip their shit any time someone so much as questions why we do/say things bug the shit out of me. I think they're the "hysterical" ones. Why is discussion on these issues so offensive to people? Being forced to think is that painful?

I question everything. Hell it's why I was thrown out of my fundie youth group as a pre-teen.

I have no clue, other than rank partisanship, why anyone on a progressive board would bend over backwards to try to excuse any kind of bigotry, or try to dismiss relevant discussions of its prevalence in our society.

Ever hear the stories of cops and ASPCA going into a stinky, smelly house to rescue two hundred dying dogs and cats from their original rescuer? That's what happens when people are "perpetually offended." A rescuer who can't ever stop or take a break because there's so much harm, so much damage, so many desperate, wounded, abandoned animals...that the poor fool finally goes insane with the burden of trying to do it all. And ends up being useless and harmful.

You can choose to be destroyed by your vast and caring nobility. But it actually works against getting the job done.
