1. Yeah, except that being considered a womanizing lech who hates his wife is not a bad thing at all
Bill Clinton is often described thusly, and it's delivered with a wink and a nudge. Compare it with being portrayed as a 'bitch' or a 'witch or a 'slut', which are some typical epithets hurled at women. They're not even close.

3. Angry and bitter are not winners

Especially when he is seen as being a warm and outgoing person by most democrats.

There is a certain "wink and nudge" factor there, but there's also something nastier in that portrayal.

9. Men who are unhappy in their marriages are not portrayed as angry and bitter
They are sympathetic figures. This is definitely the usual portrayal of Bill Clinton and that SNL sketch was in no way a departure from it. Why the poor little henpecked thing! Of course he has seek his comforts elsewhere!

8. SNL used to be funny but for the last three or four years is SUCKS
I guess the writers aren't as good as they used to be or the comics aren't any good any more...

11. I happen to think the Adam Sandler era was the last funny one
When Will Ferrell was on there it had its moments (I loved Goth Talk) but it just hasn't been funny in years. The writers suck, and most of the players suck.
