Nobody is my second choice
I get sick of this second and third choice crap.

Hillary is my only choice. If for some reason she does not get the nomination then I will wildly and without consideration support whomever the fuck We choose to represent the party.

Until then I have only one choice and am doing all in my power to help her win. Maybe that's why she's winning? I don't know any Hillary supporters who are soft on her and even think about who else they would support.

Is it time for SNL yet?

1. To be honest
The backlash lately against Hillary has caused me to take a much closer look at her beyond the rhetoric.
I'm generally not one to believe the nonsense spew, so memes like "triangulation" and "flip-flop" I discard fairly quickly.

I'm liking what I see. I still prefer Kucinich --but Hillary is climbing. I'd have her right now tied 2nd with Edwards for my pick.

And I too will enthusiastically support whoever is our nominee.

3. I really don't either.
I will do everything in my power to make sure that John Edwards receives the Democratic nomination.

I thought about the others, but stopped. I want to pour all my energy and strength in helping John Edwards.

5. That's great!

I think Edwards is a fine pick.

Personally, I'm to the left of both Edwards and Clinton --so I'm throwing all my energy to Kucinich.

But I also understand that I don't make up the whole of the Party -- and certainly not the country.

I'll be happy with any of the current field of Democratic candidates. I, think there hasn't been a stronger bunch in decades.

to support John Edwards in the primary. But, I too will support and vote for our party's nominee in '08.

11. Here in Iowa it's a good idea to have a second choice
in case our first choice is not viable. Probably only a necessary question if the voter lives is a true caucus state or in a later state that has the potential of their first choice dropping out prior to their primary vote being cast. You don't have that concern since only Iowa will hold it's contest prior to yours (and in the last 15 years years only Tom Harkin and Dick Gephart dropped out before New Hampshire held it's primary). :hi:

12. Iowa is different and we sometimes forget
I also think Iowa is very important this year, especially with all those college kids away or home on vacation.

Some of us in NH were looking into chartering a bus to Iowa over Xmas week. Just for a change of canvassing scenery.

they're "soft on" their first?

We have a really good field of candidates this year. It's okay to like more than one.

16. Joe was great this morning
He got to show his foreign affairs experience and intellect.

I love the guy and he was my choice 2 years ago before Hill made it official.

19. Why do you think Hillary is better than Biden? Because she's the frontrunner?
Biden is my #1. There is no # 2 for me. I have never been more sure about a candidate in my life.

20. Because she'll win
Plain and simple. This campaign will be as nasty if not worse than any other and Hillary knows how to fight.

I think they all will do the right things once in office and none of them will ever deliver on all their promises. We have to trust them and I trust Hillary.

21. Give me a break. Biden would do far better in the general than Hillary
And he wouldn't have to "fight." there are disaffected repubs coming to the biden blog all the time saying they want biden to be the next prez.

23. What issues make Hillary Clinton your only choice
and how does she excite you? (This is a serious question). I have no alterior motive. I'm having difficulty settling on just one and going full bore yet. I've got four I could feel good about.

24. No issue
She can win and I trust her to do most if not all of the things we Democrats stand for.

I don't try to understand the issues more than a basic overview and idea of which side I may fall. I cannot presume that I have any answers. It's not my job.

We have representative democracy where we hire people we trust to run things for us. If they suck we hire someone else.

I trust Hillary.
