The repeated appeasement by the Dems in Congress will hurt Franken
and others who might challenge vulnerable Bushlings like Gordon Smith, Susan Collins, and John Voinovich. If a Dem majority in both chambers cannot stop * from even his most egregious crimes, and if their response to *'s attacks like the one Thursday is to cower and give him even more immunity, how will someone like Franken campaign? "We must stop the neocon assault on civil liberties, the budget, and working Americans". "Well, that doesn't seem to be what Shumer and Clinton think"
