Here's an email from the Clinton campaign. It's an obtuse definition of the Frontrunner Underdog. This is a new political symptom for a candidate to try to brand the situation with. It's essentially the Salvador Dali painting "Poor Little Me The Frontrunner" if he was still alive:
Dear XXXXX,
If you saw the debate Tuesday night, or if you've seen the news coverage since, then you know that this campaign has entered a new phase.
On that stage in Philadelphia, we saw six against one. Candidates who had pledged the politics of hope practiced the politics of pile on instead. Her opponents tried a whole host of attacks on Hillary.
She is one strong woman. She came through it well. But Hillary's going to need your help.
Her opponents, trying to boost their falling poll numbers, started attacking Hillary weeks ago on the stump. Now they're doing it in the debates. And soon they'll begin a barrage of negative TV ads and mailings in the early primary and caucus states.
But Hillary knows that voters want real change -- not more negative attacks. And with just 60 days left before the Iowa caucuses, now is the time to show her that you are right there with her.
Will you help Hillary with your contribution today?
Thank you for standing with Hillary at this critical moment in the campaign.
Sincerely,
PSD

The following email is what Team Clinton Part Deux would refer to as "piling on". Even despite the semi-sexual aggression that the term bespeaks, this email lays out a simple issue that will actually come to haunt Team Clinton Part Deux even more than the war votes erstwhile convincing via a double-talking shell game the opposite, depending on where the speech is being performed:
Dear XXXX,
When asked several direct questions about the release of official records from her time in the White House, Senator Clinton gave a vague and dismissive answer.
These documents, according to Newsweek, include Senator Clinton's "appointment calendar as First Lady, her notes at strategy meetings, what advice she gave her husband and his advisers, what policy memos she wrote, even some key papers from her health-care task force."
It's time to turn the page on this kind of secrecy and restore trust in our government.
If Senator Clinton is going to run on her record, the American people deserve to see it.
Watch the video of Barack's exchange with Senator Clinton, learn about his plan to restore trust, and support the call for a more open and transparent government.
Throughout his career, Barack has fought for increased government transparency and accountability.
He passed aggressive legislation on campaign finance reform and ethics regulation. He proposed a landmark plan to reveal earmarks in federal appropriations bills. And he is setting a new standard of openness in campaign fundraising.
Earlier this year he released a detailed plan to get us on track, titled "Restoring Trust in Government and Improving Transparency."
Barack believes that when the government makes a decision that affects your life, you deserve to know about it. When government officials meet with corporate lobbyists, you should be able to watch the meeting. When your tax dollars are appropriated for a government program, you deserve to know where they are going and who requested them.
Anything less is politics-as-usual.
Senator Clinton's refusal to answer direct questions and disclose her records is a perfect example of what needs to change in Washington.
For the past seven years we have endured one of the most secretive administrations in American history. The time has come to turn the page and rebuild trust in our government.
We must demand more from those seeking the presidency.
Support the call for a more open and transparent government:
