China denies donation to US Senator Kerry
-- Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue denied here Thursday that China had ever made a donation to US Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry.

At a regular press conference here Thursday afternoon, a reporter cited a US media report as alleging Kerry accepted a political donation from Chinese military information department in1996.

1. Don't the Bushists have any new ammo in their arsenal?
Are we going to be bored with this kind of story throughout the campaign because the Republicans don't have any fresher ideas for ratfucking?

2. China is more reliable than Republicans
Yeah, the Chinese government is so much more reliable than those horrible Republicans when it comes to their alleged attempts to funnel secret money to influence our elections.

Hey, let's ask the Chinese government to clear up some other questions for us like:

1) Did you get any secret information from those computers that the FBI lost? No? Whew!

2) Did you have anything to do with those Buddhists Gore got money from? Ridiculous, don't look into it any further? Okay, thanks.

3) Was there any truth at all to the Kerry/Polier story? What? There was? Polier works for Mossad like Monica? Oh, thanks, Chinese government, you're so helpful.

4) Have you ever tried to influence our internal affairs in any way? No? You mean, even though you railed and railed against us for "interfering with China's internal affairs": while you were mowing down your own citizens in Tianmen Square, you have never EVER tried to influence ours? No? Well, you Chinese sure are honorable people, that's all I can say. But, what about when Clinton "accidentally" bombed your embassy in Serbia with one of our ultra-precision smart missiles, killing three of your diplomats? You've got lots of diplomats to spare? Cool.

Seriously, this is absurd -- what idiot reporter asked the Chinese government if they've been tampering with our elections? There may be nothing to these reports, but China's answer only makes me suspicious that it's true! Something is seriously wrong when Americans give more credence to a standoffish foreign power we've basically been at war with for fifty years (who do you think was arming and assisting Vietnam and North Korea?) than to fellow Americans of an opposing party.
