Richardson in an NPR clip today said that criticizing HIllary for being chummy
with lobbyists (ie, taking money) was "personal" and not the kind of talk that Obama and Edwards should be engaging in....then said the O and E had been taking money from people who worked in companies that hired lobbyists. Somehow, that doesn't seem exactly the same thing, to me, and then I wondered if THAT was a personal attack as well!!

Any thoughts?

3. Huh?
"Personal"? Seems a pretty stupid thing to say. This is why I can't support Richardson. He may be a good governor of NM, but he says the darndest things.

5. Richardson is referencing attacks on her integrity
“I’ve become very concerned about the negative tone of the campaign,” he said. “I think that Senators Obama and Edwards should concentrate on the issues and not on attacking Sen. Clinton.”

“The differences on the issues should be highlighted, but personal attacks I believe should not take place,” he said.

In recent days, Obama and Edwards have spoken out against Clinton’s decision to accept contributions from lobbyists. Richardson defended Clinton and reiterated that calling her “integrity into question,” was unnecessary and “personally negative.”

7. It's a nuanced fact that's over the heads of Obama & Edwards supporters.
They take money from the people who hire lobbyists and profit from lobbyists.
It's a ploy that has effectively snookered thier underinformed base.
