Jeanne Marie Devolites-Davis, currently a Virginia State Senator, who is going to get her ass kicked in 10 days, put out a slimeball mailer attacking her opponent Chap Peterson, which included Peterson's home address, phone number and the names of his wife and kids...

Apparently they have been getting harassing phone calls ever since...is there no level to which Republicans will sink...

I can hardly wait until she gets bounced out on her behind November 6th...and then she and her sleazoid husband can commiserate on the wreck that has become their political careers...

This is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen in Virginia politics -- and that's saying a lot!

I just saw a mailing sent out by Jeannemarie Devolites Davis where puts in a large image a disclosure form that has CHAP'S WIFE AND KIDS NAME ON IT WITH THEIR HOME ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER AND FAILS TO BLACK OUT ANY OF THE INFORMATION. Sources tell me that Sharon Petersen has been overwhelmed with hate filled phone calls from this mailing. IS THERE NO DEPTH TO WHICH JEANNEMARIE WON'T SINK?

How is this any different from the Republican smear campaign aimed at the family of 12-year-old Graeme Frost? Either way, it totally refutes the ridiculous notion that the Republicans somehow care about families or children, as if their opposition to the state children's health insurance program (SCHIP) isn't bad enough. Why does anyone vote for these creeps?

On a side note, Not Larry Sabato was about to publish Davis' personal info, but was called off by Chap Peterson, who didn't want to subject Davis' kids to what his own kids were going through...

I hear internals show him ahead...if I had to guess I would say he wins by about 5 pts or so. That district has turned quite blue, and some of these Republicans are hanging on by force of their name recognition...
