Redstate just sent out email blast to defeat SCHIP vote today>>>
Dear RedState Reader,

Several Republican congressmen from California have had to return home because of the forest fires.

As a result, Nancy Pelosi is going to bring the SCHIP bill back for a vote today, banking that with these absences she can get the bill passed.

Several Republicans who voted "no" last week need to hear from us. Call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and tell them to stand firm and vote no on H.R. 3963.

Here's who you need to talk to:

Judy Biggert (IL)
Charles Boustany (LA)
Ginny Brown-Waite (FL)
Ken Calvert (CA)
Ander Crenshaw (FL)
Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ)
Elton Gallegly (CA)
Bob Inglis (SC)
Tim Johnson (IL)
John Peterson (PA)
Mike Rogers (MI)
Bill Shuster (PA)
Greg Walden (OR)

All the best,

Erick Erickson

4. Never mind... i got through to Judy Biggert's office and spoke with one of her staffers..
...and told him that I think that whilst we're spending an ADDITIONAL $42 Billion in Iraq, voting for a small percentage of that to insure kids in the USA sounded like a pretty good idea.

5. Why in the hell doesn't she get this kind of spine all the time.
Since when have the republicans followed any kind of protocol on voting. Remember the votes held open for hour after hour (illegally I might add) to try to get enough republicans to change their vote.

What about stuff like that. I think the democrats are stupid for not doing every single thing they can to get a vote. FU** the republicans - let cheney do it tho, he's fond of that.
