Clinton to add 100 Iowa staffers

Sources tell First Read the Clinton campaign is making a push to significantly step up their efforts in Iowa. They are aiming to add more 100 paid staff in the Hawkeye State by Nov. 1.

The campaign has also created a flier advertising an Oct. 28 and 29th Clinton “job fair” in Arlington, Va., where to send resumes and how to set up phone interviews.

According to an analysis by the Des Moines Register, Obama has 145 paid staffers in Iowa, Edwards has 130 and Clinton has 117.

Looks like Clinton is going full out in Iowa. Hardly a surprise.
Also interesting to see that Edwards and Obama already have more staffers on the ground there than Hillary. But if she adds a hundred to the number she already has, she'll have far more boots on the ground than either of them.

I'm looking to Iowa as the place where Obama, Edwards or one of the 2nd tier candidates can slow down the Clinton campaign. If she came in third, for example, I think that the odds of her getting the nomination, would decrease.

2. yep.
she wants those unsures. Of course, so does everyone else. I know you support Clinton; I don't, but I do recognize that if someone doesn't put a dent in her momentum in Iowa, there'll be no place else to do it.
