Poll question: I enjoy being a part of Du because DU is:
We have been having many arguments about whether Du is for all progressives, or for the Democratic party.
It is a given that most of us are both: Democrast and progressives. And it is a given that after the primary, the rules say you cannot fight against a Democratic candidate. We all know that.
What i'm looking for, is an idea of whether we are, in our majority, progressives first, or Dem party first.

And if this divide is real, or if it is a small number of people fighting.

My question is: which of the two brings you to DU, alignment with progressives, or with the party.

2. If we get a substantial number of answers, maybe we can draw conclusions
about who DU is. If it is even, maybe we should become 2 groups.

Both. Bothersome when the two conflict.

4. both
so its impossible to vote, as you didn't even put in "other" as a choice. It's a classic push poll.

7. You know, it's all very simple.
"Du is for democrats and OTHER progressives". Note the word other. Its use is a clear indication that Skinner identifies democrats as progressives. Now I may not, and you may not, but it ain't our site.

10. The site is for the Democratic Party
This is one of those occasions where what you personally think doesn't matter because you're not in control of the site. That's a collective you.

I know it's hard for anti-authoritarians to accept that they have to follow rules they didn't get to write, but such is DU. At least Skinner listens to opinions, that's more than you get from most of the world.

12. I really don't know what DU is anymore
but it's still fun, interesting and informative. It's what you make of it.
