"Breaking News - Brittany Spears goes to a tanning salon"
Breaking news!!!

"Oh and in other news, there is something about presidential candidates Joe Biden and Sam Brownback working together on the campaign trail to find a solution to the Iraq War.........hmmm, well that is unprecedented, but more on that later. This just in, Lindsay Lohan says that "rehab was a sobering experience".

What you may not hear on the nightly news:

From Des Moines, Iowa

Brownback and Biden: On carving up Iraq

by Rick Pearson

DES MOINES — In one of the most unusual appearances of the campaign season, Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden and Republican candidate Sam Brownback jointly spoke before a local foreign relations group on their proposal to encourage a loosely federalized system of government in Iraq.

snip

Both men adamantly denied that their legislation, which recently passed the Senate and awaits House action, would create a forced partition of Iraq. Instead they said the legislation was aimed at having the Iraqi's restructure their government as allowed under the country's recently adopted constitution.

2. Oh well, the rest of the "tanners" should just drop out now
With such an endorsement, Brittany has it in the bag! It is "inevitable".

The stock market is up...go to the mall, buy an investment property in Detroit, don't worry about the real news or that dang'd Constitutional stuff.

7. I'm not sure
She just got pre-empted by Anna Nicole Smith! There was something else about some guy named Putin and a missile defense system......doesn't look too important though.

5. I tuned in MSNBC yesterday afternoon and it was "Breaking News"
Britney in court! And they are trying to style themselves as the politics go-to channel? Yeah, right. I guess it's the place for politics just so long as Brit doesn't break a nail.

8. Or change her hair color!
Remember how much coverage the "loose nukes" got? No wonder so many people turn their TV's off and get their news from the Internet. When they do cover politics, it is about "cackles", hair cuts, and flag pins!

11. the MSM is deplorable
its a sad commentary, that I am having to agree with that Kid... "LEAVE BRITTANY ALONE" might just add "let anna nichole Smith rest in peace." "I don't care about Hillary's sassy new hair!" ok I made the last one up. (someone, somewhere wants to report it though.)

12. A little junk-food news now and then is okay
but they bombard us with it. If I wanted to know all the latest on celebrity Brats, I'd watch ET.
