2. Interestingly, the Republicans are polling in
negative numbers:

Fred Thompson leads the pack at -8%

Guilliani is a close second at -12%

And, Tancredo and Brownback are tied at negative ad infinitum. MKJ

3. I wanted to say it, but I thought it might sound like sour grapes . . .
PLEASE, folks . . take all of these polls with a bit of skepticism ---

4. I guess nobody has ever convinced you folks that "the soft sell" is best on fellow Democrats.

Your demonstrated arrogance and, IMO, overconfidences does not reflect well on your heroine. We're all running away from you ... repulsed vice attracted. :(

6. Short and Firey, I don't think the OP is supporting Hillary. Read it again.

11. Hillary is a liability
Edited on Fri Oct-12-07 01:02 PM by ProudDad
This was obvious satire...

She carries the most negatives and baggage, is the most vulnerable (along with Slick Willie) and poses the best chance that the pukes have to bring our their base, confuse the independents, piss off the left and regain the (aptly named) White House...

I think that the OP is on your side.

20. You and I are of similar minds.
I've seen, too many times, a reply to a post that pointed out how utter swindling stupid, how mush-mouthed republi-con ugly and without doubt utterly useless the poster must be to entertain such ideas in the face of the glaringly obvious "facts" of the matter.
Fine way to win a supporter for whichever side one is on.

'Tis ever thus, I suppose.

Oh, btw, may I respectfully suggest a tiny edit you might be interested in?
Instead of:
"Your demonstrated arrogance and, IMO, overconfidences does not reflect well on your heroine. "

How 'bout::
"Sweety, I must be misunderstanding your postings. I have heard so much arrogance and overconfident swaggering from the right wing nutlery set, recently, that everything I hear starts to sound like them. I'm sure this could not be how you meant it to sound and I will be really happy to listen to you if you will listen to me. Thanks for your understanding and sympathy."

Can I sell a democrat, or what?!:toast: (blush)
Yeah, I know, it does use up a lot of perfectly good words, and there's a real shortage of good words, but a wise man once advised me, "Apologize immediately, especially if you're right." He lived to be more than a hundred and was married to the same wife for eighty-five years.

I remember the fraggings of 2004 and all the humans busy being humans. It really sucked a lot and drove a lot of people apart (and up the wall.)

7. This would be more damning if you knew what a push poll actually was.
A push poll is not the publishing of a survey or posting of one or whatever.

It is the means of disseminating negative information under the guise of conducting a poll.

You robocall 10,000 voters late at night under the guise of promoting your opponent pissing off potential voters.

You call 1,000 very likely voters and ask if your opponent's rampant drug use will have any effect on your vote.

That is push polling.

to make the math come out right.

24. We didn't have the Hillbots in 2004!
They all want to ambassadors to Pago Pago or someplace as their loyalty reward. The only thing they haven't done today so far is to compare us ani-Hill people to Nazis!
