He'd demolish Heather Wilson & would add another seat in Senate, it would be great if Democrats could get 55+ seats...

1. Heather Wilson is such a slimeball
I can't imagine she would be in the Senate. I would love to see Bill get that seat.

2. I dont' know that he'd do that
After having been Governor, I suspect he'd consider being a Senator a bit of a demotion. I'd love to see us pick-up that Seat, though.

3. His presidential bid is not going anywhere. I think he's trying to get the VP spot.

7. I agree
but I think the VP slot is a long shot. Just my opinion and I could, of course, be very wrong.

4. "If" his Presidential bid fails.....

You meant "when", didn't you? The only reason the "unelectable" meme isn't used on him is because he's DLC. That makes him "bottom tier" instead of "unelectable". Just ask Kucinich.

New Mexico Senate Race: Martin Chavez Is In

Posted by Karen Tumulty

The race for the Senate seat being vacated by Pete Domenici continues to take shape.

Albuquerque's popular Mayor Martin Chavez plans to announce tomorrow morning that he will run for the Democratic nomination. Chavez tells me he made the decision after speaking to Governor (and presidential contender) Bill Richardson, who is the top choice of national Democrats. "He told me, 'Marty, I'm not running. I'm running for the President,'" Chavez says, adding that Richardson assured him that he will not change his mind if he loses his presidential bid. (That's an option Richardson might well have: The filing deadline in New Mexico is February 12, which is a week after the crucial round of big-state primaries that many believe will give someone a lock on the nomination.)

6. I got an email from a Albuquerque friend
who said Richardson is not interested in the office. He mentioned Mayor Chavez might run. He is sick of heather wilson and her ass kissing * worship.
