All you have to do is read this NY Times article posted a few hours ago to spot several lies by conservative bloggers about Graeme Frost, the 12 year old boy used in a campaign against Bush's veto of the SCHIP program for children's health.
Compare claims by the blog Floppingaces with the truth:
1-)According to Floppingaces, the value of their house is "over a half a million". Public records obtained by the NY Times now show the value to be $260,000, up from the original price of $55,000 in the early 90's.
2-)Floppingaces says the kitchen counters are granite; but the Frosts, who live in this house and therefore know what their stuff is made up, told the Times "
kitchen counters are concrete."
i won't even mention the one about the Frosts paying $40,000 in tuition, since Thinkprogress debunked it yesterday. (scholarships pay 99% of the children's tuition.
