Why I might switch to supporting Kucinich ... He is honest

Read the following

BORGER: This is to Congressman Kucinich.

President Bush last week said that yes, he had expected to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, that he was using the same intelligence that had been provided to President Clinton, also the same intelligence that had been used by the heads of other nations.

Do you believe that the president knowingly lied to the American people? And if so, why would he do that?

KUCINICH: I think that this administration knew full well that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, with Al Qaida's role in 9/11, with the anthrax attack on this country, that Iraq had neither the capability nor the intention of attacking the United States, that Iraq was not trying to get uranium from Niger and that, in fact, Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction.

This is the singular issue upon which this election will turn. And I, as the only one up here who voted against the war and voted against the Patriot Act, as the ranking Democrat on a subcommittee that has jurisdiction over national security, an investigative subcommittee, I never saw any evidence that suggested that there was a reason for this country to go to war against Iraq.

It was wrong to go to in it's wrong to stay in it is time that we start talking about bringing our troops home, bringing those guardsmen, guardswomen, those reservists back home. Stop this war get out of Iraq.

BORGER: So I take it the answer is yes that the president knowingly lied to the American people?

KUCINICH: The president lied to the American people.

BORGER: And why would he do that?

1. yes and he speaks the truth
And he is consistent.
He says the same thing each time.
What he says here he has said many times before.
And I have yet to hear another candidate say it.
The truth is the truth.
The truth shall set us free.

7. and a true compassion for others
with ideas to be implemented that will actually help raise not only the people of this country out of poverty and fear, but into the light of love and compassion. We make a choice every day. We wake up to the light and decide whether to extinguish it or share it with those around us.

Shine your light into the eyes of everyone you see each day, and they will be unable to resist the impulse to grow in the spirit of peace and love.

I am not idealistic. I am hopefulistic.

2. I love this man
I voted for him in our caucus. I know he does not have a chance, but nevertheless, I love this guy. He is the only one with a foot into reality and not into fakery, spin and the other political maneuvers the others seem to like. He is just plain human but also very powerful and does get his goals accomplished.

8. C'mon over, we'd be glad to have you!
Kucinich is the first presidential candidate I've been able to support without ANY reservations, and I've been caucusing since 1988.

Although he's written off as "unrealistic", his program is extremely pragmatic and very workable.

A vote for Kucinich sends a message to the party that it cannot abandon its values: universal healthcare, workers' rights, a commitment to peace.

12. Dennis has been honestly standing up for what's right for years
From his first big win for people against corporations when he was the youngest mayor ever elected in a major city and stood up against the privatization of the municipal electric utility, to today, Dennis is honestly interested more in what he can do for US than what he can do for HIMSELF.

Kucinich is the soul of democracy.
