Change To Win Says Political Dynamic Is Anti-Corporate, Pro-Worker - 10/04/07

By Doug Cunningham

There’s been a significant shift in the politics of the past two decades toward a more progressive, labor-friendly direction. And that, according to Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners, means that the 2008 presidential election will be about the revival of the American Dream. Change To Win’s Anna Burger says an overwhelming majority of Americans now believe that corporate power has run amok and that unions are the antidote to restore the American Dream for workers.

: “There's been a whole campaign to de-unionize the workforce and to prevent workers from having a voice. And I think that has led to a decline of workers standards in this country. And it was really clear from the poll that voters know that. They get that. And they believe that having a President that speaks out strongly for the workers' right to have a union will change. And they believe very clearly from the polls that having unions will change their lives."

2. I know Celinda works for Edwards but, she is very right. applause to her.
besides, I want to have a real democrat in the white house. if not obama, then edwards or richardson, dodd or biden will do very nice.
