Getting behind one leader is kind of limiting - that's the trouble with primaries. But getting behind a MOVEMENT. Pretty liberating.

Dean's grassroots movement & Kucinich's continued candidacy is good for the party. We all benefit. The frontrunners can keep doing what it takes to win-over a cynical electorate, and we can keep doing what we're doing to ease that cynicism.

Democrats WILL win, and we WILL have reform. The either/or dichotomy is false, because there's SO much more to politics than just winning elections.

This isn't the "fall in line" kind of unity that people are used to. It is unity by inclusion: We as a party utilize our differences for a common good - without having to sacrifice or marginalize our greatest personal assets, our leaders or our ideals.

I hope other folks can see it that way.

2. "There's so much more to politics than winning elections."
This is true in the same sense it's true that there's much more to medicine than helping sick people. True, but if you're not getting the main thing done the rest is just a waste of time.

What exactly are you asking people to do, anyway?
