1. Then get her to change her position on the war
and rethink her health plan, bad in 1993 and bad now.

That is all.

15. That's probably because there are very few grass-roots activists for her
I've seen none and I do a lot of grass-roots efforts. I've seen grass-roots activists for Edwards, Kucinich, Richardson, Biden and Obama. Zip...zero...nada for Clinton. That's from states like Wisconsin, Missouri, Louisiana, California, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Illinois.

I've heard from a few, or one here on DU and respect her passion for her candidate...

Some of you are making it hard to visit GD-Politics. All of this namecalling and fighting is hard to take. But that's okay, once John Edwards wins the nomination, we'll all be one happy family. :)

26. Pls point out to me where I called anyone a name, ok?
I don't like Hillary and I have never called her a name. I have some real problems voting for her if she is the nominee and that is a situation I will have to face come November 2008 ~~ assuming she gets the #1 spot on the Dem ticket for the General Election.

I have never been rude to you or anyone else nor have I ever called another DUer a derogatory name. Maybe you are thinking of someone else because I have always tried to conduct myself as politely as possible in regard to my fellow DUers and to never engage in a fight or name calling with anyone. I am hoping your comments were not directed specifically toward me.

Frankly, right now, I am not enthralled with any of those who are running for the Dem nomination. Last on my list happens to be Hillary because I have dislike for her both personally and for her politics. I like Edwards, Obama, Richardson, Dodd, etc., personally and would not hesitate to vote in November for any of these pols. However....Hillary is a horse of a different color.

What I would give for Wes Clark or Al Gore to be running! <sigh>

14. What specific issues have you seen that are not what you agree with?
It's easy to just call people "anti-Hillary Clinton posters"... and hit and run...

What issues were brought up concerning her voting record or candidacy that you can back up with a reasonable response? I'm not talking about polls based primarily on name recognition...let's be talking about issues... past votes... achievements... reasons you would vote for her...

Edited on Thu Oct-04-07 12:44 PM by calipendence
We're getting flooded with these pro-Hillary posts that, I'm sorry, but look like they are bought and paid for.

Almost all of them reflect poll conditions, which are so meaningless from my point of view at this point, in that they really mean NOTHING!

All these posts do is fill our discussion with endless rehash of these topics and us PLEADING for these people to say something besides "She's leading! Deal with it!" and point out WHY (in terms of WHAT she will do that is better than the other candidates), instead of trying to force us to accept their contrived vision of reality that is backed up by the corporate media press.

These folks are the ones that are creating the so-called "anti-Hillary" crowd. We aren't anti-Hillary so much as being against this drivel that ammounts to "accept us or else" types of messages that we don't feel can be allowed to pass through unchallenged.

43. The same threads repackaged -- Reality testing 1,2,3...
Edited on Thu Oct-04-07 03:40 PM by BrightKnight
I rarely see anything positive. It's always smear campaigning. I see the same threads repackaged over and over again. I am fairly certain that the GOP is behind half of it. Split and demoralize the base sounds like their style.

The idea that there was no difference between the Clinton and Bush administrations is absurd. Perhaps some people can't remember back that far but I can. Reality testing 1,2,3...

The impossible all might be a beautiful idea but it is time to put the crack pipe down.

46. Y'know, you might try just not reading stuff here if it gets to you like that.
Seems to me you're taking this waaaayyyy too personally.

Your candidate is just another political figure. She can take care of herself.

And it wouldn't be the end of your world if we nominated somebody else. We do have other candidates who could do the job.

I'd suggest taking a walk, then maybe a hot bath and a cup of ice tea. Aromatherapy could help as well.

Just sayin'.
