So much for the "new kind of politics"...Obama whining at Clinton

The Associated Press
Obama: Clinton No Break From the Usual

By JIM DAVENPORT – 1 hour ago

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Sunday that the front-runner for his party's nomination, Hillary Rodham Clinton, does not offer the break from politics as usual that voters need.

Both Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., and her husband, former President Clinton, have criticized Obama for his lack of political experience.

Obama said he understands their argument.

"They want to make the argument that Senator Clinton is just an extension of the Bill Clinton presidency," Obama said in an interview with The Associated Press. "They've been the dominant political family in the Democratic Party for the last 20 years now. So it's not surprising that they want to focus on their longevity.

1. He's just responding to their attacks
Do you expect him to just sit back and take it? I know that's what you'd like, but it's not going to happen. Obama has always said he was going to offer a new kind of politics, but that doesn't mean he won't fight back when attacked.

2. Looks like stating facts to me
That is all Hillary's campaign is, an extentsion of Bill's presidency. If people want all those scandals back, all the triangulating, tax policy aimed at the upper income, go ahead and vote for it. But if people want change, they better look somewhere else.

3. Its a common tactic that will be used against Obama all campaign season. . .
. . .there are those like the OP and others (including Republicans) who will twist Obama's "politics of hope" into an "Obama is not allowed to be critical of anyone." I expect it from desperate individuals, including the OP.

6. Sometimes the truth appears negative to those it's aimed at.
Hell, I don't even like Obama, but this is lame.

10. Kerry tried to not criticize anyone...
Even when the "swiftboaters" were sliming him and damaging his campaign. Look how that turned out.

12. Our Candidate Needs To Be Like Sean Connery's Character From The Untouchables
"You wanna know how you do it? Here's how, they pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way, and that's how you get Capone! Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that?"
