Dean Supporters who will back Edwards over Kerry (Check in Here)
DK supporters can weigh in too!

I support Edwards over Kerry and Kucinich over Kerry. I do not trust Sharpton anymore at all.

I think it is time for us to send our support and $$$ to John Edwards.

Dean is effectively bowing out in a few minutes. And I HOPE he endorses Edwards.

But I would really like a head count and the names of those who agree.

In my poll on this subject almost half of Dean folks voting want a Dean endorsement of Edwards.

But in order for Edwards to defeat Kerry he will need our support and our $$$.

Who here supports this concept enough to step forward?

Maybe it is not so much (like me( that you oppose Kerry as you feel Edwards has a better chance of beating Bush and attracting independent and republican voters who are sick of Bush and will not vote for a socalled New England "liberal".

Please check in, though. I think time is of the essence.

I HOPE Dean does it RIGHT NOW! (But maybe it is not the best strategy for him to do so - I just wish it would happen and the Dean machine would move behind Edwards)

2. I will only concider supporting Edwards if
Dean gives the goahead. If he says Kerry....then he's got way too high expectations.

12. I will 99% surely support it
Unless there is NO way in hell that Kerry/Edwards will lose my state and there is a viable alternative.

I do not want to vote for Kerry in the GE, but I will if I have to in order to stop Bush.

10. I'm now an Edwards man
Dean did not endorse anyone, but I've been very sympathetic to Edwards all along. I'll have to swallow some bitter pills, IWR and Patriot Act, but I think Edwards will fair much better against the armies of darkness this fall.

Go Edwards!

Look for the new avatar as soon as I can bring myself to change it.

11. I'm for Edwards now
I just like the guy--not as much as I like Dean, but I think Edwards really does care. And I don't like Kerry. His bumping of Edwards' speech is just one more reason I think he's a jerk. I admit, I don't agree will all of Edwards' votes, but I think he will make a great President.

13. Dean Supporters who will back...
Sorry,

My vote still goes to Gov Dean in the NY primary. I have a sneaking suspision that Howards delegates are going to be in a pivotal position at the convention.

14. Dean supporters: stick to your guns, and VOTE DEAN!
Neither one of the "front-runners" offers the vision that Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich have put forth. If you're a Dean supporter and you haven't voted for him yet, then VOTE FOR DEAN!

Since I'm a DK supporter, I've said this a million times before: who gives a damn about electability in the primaries. The primaries are the ONLY times that we, as Democratic Party voters, have a REAL voice in the workings of our party.

There's little difference between Kerry and Edwards, except for the hair and the accents. Otherwise, they're both about the same on almost all the issues: NEITHER ONE has a vision for REAL CHANGE in this country. NEITHER of them supports a 100% universal healthcare plan. NEITHER ONE voted against the Patriot Act. NEITHER ONE voted against the IWR.

There's still 75% of the delegates at stake-- this is NO TIME to throw in the towel!

15. Dean asked his supporters to vote in the primaries for him.
SNIP...."DEAN: I am no longer actively pursuing the presidency. We will,
however, continue to build a new organization, using our enormous grassroots
network, to continue the effort to transform the Democratic Party and to
change our country. And I...
(APPLAUSE)

And speaking to all of you and all of the hundreds of thousands of people
around America who are going to get this word, either by the establishment
media...

(LAUGHTER)

... or the Internet, **I have some things that I specifically want to ask of
our supporters.

First, keep active in the primary. Sending delegates to the convention only
continues to energize our party. Fight on in the caucuses. We are on the
ballots. Use your network to send progressive delegates to the convention in
Boston. We are not going away. We are staying together, unified -- all of
us.**

(APPLAUSE)
