2. I love and support Obama - but this ad is a little too Tinkerbell ("Clap
if you believe!!"). I hope his next ad will concentrate more on the issues, especially since there
are so many of them to deal with.

4. The ad is nice. Very non-confrontational and inspiring.

8. I think it's because I have been hearing all the messages for
so long now that I view everything political with jaded eye...

5. You can bore folks with specifics
or you can inspire them. After almost 7 years of one of the most depressing and disastrous administrations in our history, people want to be inspired. This is a good ad.

6. This ad obviously isn't meant to convert believers of another candidate
Edited on Tue Sep-25-07 11:53 PM by maximusveritas
but I think it can be effective in reaching the independent voters in NH. They're looking for change and someone they can believe in to bring that change about, not a specific list of policy positions.
Barack came across as very genuine in this ad. He wasn't putting on a performance; he was having a conversation with the voters. Very well done.

7. After all of the shit that's gone down that I can "hardly" believe.....
Glad to hear a candidate asking me to believe that we can change the dumb shit!

Good for him!
