4. This is the Bush spin.
And Bush has always been trying to lock-in his successor on Iraq. That doesn't mean he'll succeed.

5. Congradulations
You found the article with the most dishonest headline I have seen in ages. The article makes it crystal clear that all candidates are getting this advice and gives no evidence whatsoever that Hillary, or anyone else for that matter, is taking the advice. Great job finding such a misleading article.

18. Um it is a rw rag author's rw rag book published by Regenry & also says Bush is advising Obama.
"In an interview for the new book “The Evangelical President,” White Ho advising Obama. Still want to cling to that Hillary attack? use Chief of Staff Josh Bolten said Bush has “been urging candidates: ‘Don’t get yourself too locked in where you stand right now. If you end up sitting where I sit, things could change dramatically.’ ”

It then goes on to mention Obama several times.

Still want to cling to this BS Hillary slam?

34. If it is true it makes sense why she changed her tune on war.
A few months ago she sounded very convincing about getting our troops out of harms way.

As a result of these failures, the next President will inherit some of the greatest foreign policy challenges in our history. Rising terrorism and extremism. Frayed alliances. And the increasingly difficult task of restoring American leadership in a world that has come to view our nation with suspicion and mistrust.

We cannot effectively address any of these challenges if we continue our military engagement in Iraq. As long as we stay there, our military strength will continue to erode. Our standing in the world will continue to decline. Our enemies in the region will continue to exploit our failures. Our occupation will continue to serve as a recruitment tool for terrorists. Our support for Afghan democracy, our conflict with the Taliban, and our hunt for al Qaeda will continue to be compromised. And our brave men and women will continue to lose their lives and suffer grievous wounds.

NOW AFTER THE SUNDAY TALK SHOWS, SHE SOUNDS MORE LIKE BUSH. IT NOW DEPENDS ON HOW THINGS ARE?

Asked by ABC's George Stephanopoulos whether she would withdraw all U.S. troops from Iraq during a first term as president, Clinton (D-N.Y.) gave a simple answer: She did not know.

but she used more than 225 words to say so. "You know, I'm not going to get into hypotheticals and make pledges, because I don't know what I'm going to inherit, George. I don't know and neither do any of us know what will be the situation in the region. How much more aggressive will Iran have become?" Clinton said. "What will be happening in the Middle East? How much more of an influence will the chaos in Iraq have in terms of what's going on in the greater region? Will we have pushed al-Qaeda in Iraq out of their strongholds with our new partnership with some of the tribal sheiks or will they have regrouped and retrenched?"

I am very worried that America is being duped and we will continue to see innocent lives lost over oil. This is really sad that she would go from we must get out to I dont know? Also in the first quote she says "the next President will inherit some of the greatest foreign policy challenges in our history.

Now she says "You know, I'm not going to get into hypotheticals and make pledges, because I don't know what I'm going to inherit, George.

Please Hillary Clinton, be honest with the American people so we can make informed judgments, not judgmments on spin. Our country's future is at stake!

Bolten said Bush wants enough continuity in his Iraq policy that “even a Democratic president would be in a position to sustain a legitimate presence there.”

I don't think they are all foolish enough to buy into Bush's Bull

The inner circle of both parties protects itself first and one another when they have to do so - to keep the "outsiders" out.

out loud you don't need to make it so obvious by dredging up nonsense like this. :smoke: :boring:

Bush hates Hillary almost as much as you do, so why would he advise her? Furthermore, why would she even need his advice?
