Not accepting funds by lobbyists doesn't matter according to Hillary
Well then, why not just take bribes anywhere you can get them then.

Skip to last paragraph for Hillary's worldly and insightful view on accepting money from lobbyists.

Edwards, Obama say no to lobbyists' money Reform advocates back policy, but some rivals question effectiveness John Edwards likes to tell America he doesn't take money from Washington lobbyists, and with a few small exceptions that fell through the cracks, his campaign records support his pledge.

Edwards has made an issue of special-interest influence since he ran for the U.S. Senate from North Carolina.

"Nearly 10 years ago, I made the decision that I would never take a dime from a Washington lobbyist -- I wasn't going to work for them, and I didn't want their money," the presidential candidate said last month.

"Because in the courtroom, when you present your case to the jury, you can offer facts and evidence, you can argue your heart out. But the one thing you can't do is pay the jury. We call that a bribe.

"But in Washington, when an oil lobbyist gives money to office holders to influence our energy policy, they call it politics."

Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., shares Edwards' pledge to refuse money from lobbyists and their political action committees.

Others question how meaningful it is to ban lobbyists' money and won't take Edwards up on his challenge to join him.

"There is this artificial distinction that people are trying to make: Don't take money from lobbyists, but take money from the people who employ and hire lobbyists and give them their marching orders," Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., said last month. "Those are the people that are really going to be pushing back."
