Place Your Bets!! When will Howard Dean Drop out??
I believe he will drop out before the Super Tuesday. It would just be a total shame to see his performance in all those states.

8. sorry didn't think it would sound rude

I was just making a sensible prediction. I don't think he will stay for super tuesday.

I like Howard Dean, I was just wondering what others thought he would do.

I say he goes to the convention.
Jerry Brown did it in 1992. Why not?
His presence strengthens the anti-bush rhetoric, and his message is far more powerful than Edwards' or Kerry's.

4. Good question
By the way, it's not rude. A forum like this is to discuss politics and what comes next. It's not a sensitivity training board.

I have a feeling Dean will drop out this week. If he doesn't drop out, he will probably suspend his campaign. Dean will have no money to go on to these larger states. I predict that by this THURSDAY - he's out.

7. Stick a fork in him ...

He's done.

I don't think he's done in politics though. I could see him being a Senator from Vermont or Secretary of Health and Human Services.

18. I for one hope he stays in
There's absolutely no reason for him to drop out as long as he continues to have the funds to stay ino. If not for Dean, Kerry & Edwards would not be where they are today. They stole his thunder. First they let him test the waters and dodge the bullets, and then when they saw it was safe...well you know the rest.

19. NOTHING WRONG with this thread!
%$*%$!!!!! What is with all the sensitivity??? The poster should be able to ask about when people think Dean will drop out without everyone getting so upset. Why does it "upset" people? This is what all the talk on TV and in the papers is about - WHEN is DEAN going to leave the race? This is a Democratic political discussion board! WHY should this be off-limits at - of all places - a political DISCUSSION board? It's like a lot of the PC crap -- it seems nobody can ever be offended or "hurt" ---- GOD! --- it's POLITICS!!! Get over it!
