1. Not a very "green" event... progressives should be willing to give up at least beef
for the environment.

How about a nice, big, spaghetti meal (no meatballs), and lots of veggies? It'd be more "progressive" an event, wouldn't it?

5. I am a vegetarian now for both health and environmental reasons.
But, there was a time when I did, indeed, love steak. But, just being the (supposedly) more "progressive" Party, shouldn't we have a falafel fry, or a veggie burger fry, or something like that?

10. That's not fair at all.
Who actually runs this steak-fry thing? It used to be Harkin, himself, but I heard that some years back the Iowa Democratic Party started sponsoring it. Is that who would do the inviting?

Maybe they need to get a little mail.
