How Does Dean Deal With the Edwards Phenomenon Now?
Dean seems close to dropping out, but he also seems to be trying very hard to find a way to keep his energy and movement going. Somehow I don't think it will be going to Kerry.

Can he work out a deal of some sort with Edwards? Would Edwards accept? Do the two complement each other?

1. You know, I'm not sure
He could say that their next quest is to show their strength within the party and throw his support to Edwards.

2. A year ago, I hoped for an Edwards/Dean or Dean/Edwards ticket.
Yes, I think they go together.

3. Dean or Bust!
If I wanted to support a establishment Dem from the beginning...

My avatar would be much different than the current one.

5. I Don't See Edwards as Establishment
he's only been in the Senate two years. I like his economic and populist bent even though I am concerned about his positions on Iraq. Whatever his faults, I have not seen him waffle or bend to popular opinion.

7. I thought Dean's idea about dedicating his movement to helping Dems
accross the ticket, using his organization in key races, was absolutely brilliant.

9. I agree
He needs to become a Jesse Jackson type figure, in the sense of spreading general message. He says he is committed to de-selecting * and persuading his supporters to keep their energy and commitment together is the best he can do now.

He gave the party a voice and now he has to give voice to how that voice can translate into success in November.

10. Dean can work to create an alternative to the DLC
that's the long term goal.

The short term goal is to endorse Edwards. If Edwards was good enough for Kucinich in Iowa, he certainly is good enough for Dean.

ABK all the way!

11. Never give up. Never give up. Never give up.
Edwards can't win because of the 35 million limit.

Kerry can't win period.

Dean played the 1976 Reagan card tonight.

The day Dean gets out of the race is day we start working for 2008.

12. He should continue to the convention
He should continue to the convention. First, he still has a chance. Second, he will continue to tell what he believes which is invaluable for the nominee and the party.
