You mark my words, those excuses for this administration
are going to declare war on Iran shortly. I live near Ft. Lewis and McChord Air Force Base. During the last few years I would hear an occassional helicopter overhead. But the last few days there has been many many more helicopters practing overhead. This excuse for a leader and his supporters are going to destroy this nation while their royal behinds are protected by the littleman. Those of you who are not wealthy kiss your sons and daughters goodby, you might never see them again after the draft.

the "accidental" flying of a nuke missile over the US. If the war in Iraq is going so well there should be no increase in copter activity. Mind you I've seen copter activity of and on during this 6 year war but not like the last few days.

5. Were you there during the run-up to the Iraq war?
Is this comparable to any period near the initial strikes in March 2003?

7. I've lived in the same house for over 10 years
Yes I've been there even before the Iraq thing was done. The bases are less than 25 miles away.

Joe Six Pacs kids...just like it is now. If you required the kids of the well to do go first on the draft and made the wealthy paid 90% tax to support this war...it would end in a heart beat.

6. Starting a war with Iran
will start a war with the world. Russia, China, and France are just a few of the nations that have significant trade relations with Iran. Iran is a highly sophisticated nation--this would not be the same as rolling into Iraq or Afghanistan, both nations that were already crippled by years of previous conflict.

Starting would be easy: massive aerial bombardment. Maintaining the effort would be much harder: Stop-loss and an eventual draft are inescapable. At that point, BushCo. will be at war with the American People. We will not be oppressed by tyrants.

Oppressed by tyrants that is!!

I absolutely agree with you- especially about the dreadful mistake attacking Iran would be...just pointing out what bush has already taken from us and we don't seem to make much fuss so far.
