Last day to register in California....
Edited on Tue Feb-17-04 05:02 PM by Dookus
today's the day. If you're not yet registered for the March 2nd primary, get to your county office or post office (or library, I think) TODAY and register!

on edit: You can register online here: http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/votereg1.html

2. Too late to register online
From: http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/votereg1.html

The last day to register to vote for the March 2, 2004 Presidential Primary Election is February 17th; we will be discontinuing our on-line voter registration system on February 6th for this election.

After February 6, 2004, to ensure that your registration card is received on time to vote in the March election, you should obtain a form at your local post office, library, or local County Elections Office.

Also, you can click on the National Voter Registration Form, available in both English and Spanish, and download and print the form on your home computer. Again, be sure to complete the form and mail it to your County Elections Office. The form must be postmarked by February 17, 2004, in order for you to be registered and eligible to vote in March's election.

3. Perfect timing
I just managed to get my student assistant a major raise. She was so excited she said she would do "anything I wanted." Since I'm married and not a lesbian, I had to think of something else. I said all I wanted was for her to vote democrat in the upcoming election. Your link helped me get the voter registration, and she's now a registered democrat!
