I just got home from VOTING
for ****General Wesley K. Clark****

One of the poll workers said that turnout had been quite steady, despite the fact that the only things on the ballot in our little town were the Presidential race and one county-wide referendum.

My daughter went with me, so there were at least two votes for Clark today! :bounce: :bounce:

Particularly after the experience of Iowa, and seeing that it looks like we'll have a good turnout here in Wisconsin, I simply can't imagine why the media would be stupid enough to 'call' Wisconsin before we're half-way through the voting day! :(

...There oughtta be a law...

3. That's why ...
... I'll be casting my vote for Kucinich. I'd love to see Kucinich in the cabinet in a position to enforce his environmental positions and alternative fuel positions. EPA or Dept of Interior perhaps.

19. Because Dean isn't
the one I believed in.

This was my one opportunity to stand up and tell the world that Wesley Clark would make the best President of the United States!

11. HA,
Well, I hope I don't have to say the same thing to you in November! :hi:

It did feel good to vote, despite my disappointment over what has happened in the last few months.

It's just a reminder that we have to do everything humanly possible to get bush out of our White House!

23. I believe that the demise of
Clark's campaign, and what is looking like might be Dean's campaign as well has been aided by the media. AND, I believe that that has been aided by greater and greater right-wing control of the media.

You're right that the Democratic Party has been responsible for the front-loading of the primaries, and for pushing one candidate out in front, but I think part of that is a response to absolute panic over getting the worst president we've ever witnessed out of our White House.

I'm not going to get into a slugfest with you - if you don't understand my feelings, that's quite ok with me. As I said, it made me feel good and gave me hope to cast my ballot for Clark, even if other people can't relate in the least.

Hows he doing with that? Have you heard?

7. I know why you voted for Clark
for the same reason I am voting for him in the NY primary on March 2...to tell the DNC they blew it by front loading the primaries and pushing people to drop out before 90 percent of us had a chance to vote.
Way to go!

26. Traj,
it's definitely more than personality to me. I won't go into the emotional reasons that I voted for Clark, since it doesn't sound like that's what you're interested in. The practical reason I did was that I thought that a show of support for him might help to keep him in the public arena. I don't think that this country can afford to lose out on all he has to offer.

I know plenty of Clark supporters who are going both ways - some voting for Clark, and some have shifted to other candidates. As long as they all vote that's all I ask!
