As you've probably seen by now, Bush is selling the continued surgification of Iraq by http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/08/22/maj-general-paul-eaton-on-bush-viet-nam-comparison-an-unfortunate-trip-back-into-history/">comparing it to Vietnam.

In a quote released ahead of today's speech, he said:

“Three decades later, there is a legitimate debate about how we got into the Vietnam War and how we left.”


He added that people of conscience also disagree about the Titanic, malaria, and sticking your face in a fan.

....he forgot to complete the thought....
