I found this interesting because it was a murder that took place in Chicago by a guy who is half french.

Illinois Senators Richard Durbin and Barack Obama are seeking help from the French Embassy and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to bring Hans Peterson back to Chicago to face charges he killed a downtown dermatologist.

Peterson, 29, has been in French custody since he surrendered Aug. 6 to authorities in French-controlled St. Martin. Peterson allegedly confessed to the October 2006 murder of David Cornbleet, found stabbed to death in his Loop office.

Peterson was able to secure his French citizenship in May because his mother is French. Local prosecutors fear Peterson will not be extradited because of his citizenship.

As a half french in Illinois, I have always known I could Claim my citizenship from France. Something I have concidered doing if Bush does his little martial law thing.
Has anyone ever thought about what they would do if Bush decided to take dictatorship???
It just got me thinking if anyone here thought about what if....

2. British Columbia, Baby!
Vancouver is a great city. BC politics are a little crazy, but 100 klicks north of the Lion's Gate bridge is WILDERNESS.

Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone.

I love BC, love the cold weather, and last time I checked I scored 69 on the citizenship test so I think they'll take me!
