Democratic Self-Appreciation Excercise #4: What do you admire the most about Dennis Kucinich?
You already know the rules- if you don't have anything positive to say, don't post anything. Thanks in advance to those that will contribute to this thread.

My response: His honesty and idealism- he's too good, too honest, and too right for such a dirty world like politics. I wish more politicians would learn from him.

1. He walks his talk
He is for universal health care-and has sponsored HR 676.
He is for impeaching Cheney-and has sponsored HR 333
He is against the Iraq war-and has consistantly voted against bills supporting the war.

4. His willingness to fight for what he believes
even though his candidacy is a forlorn hope. By staying in the race, taking the jokes and insults and sneers, he keeps his policies and issues alive, and forces the other candidates to offer their own solutions.

A strong primary vote for Kucinich, even though he loses, automatically pushes the winning candidate toward his positions.

and the ONLY candidate who speaks publicly about it.

6. How rapidly he gets his views across!
He doesn't have much choice but to say about 300 words in the 20 seconds they give him in each debate!

He keeps the other campaigns "honest".

14. Balls as big as church bells. (Sad that it takes courage to merely tell the plain truth these days)
I disagreed with him extremely on the FOX news thingy (Still a huge point of contention I have against DK, actually), but that is about it.

15. He says what he means and means what he says.
No political double-talk, no deception, no mumbo-jumbo. His honesty is refreshing and his tenacious spirit is inspiring.

Yay, Dennis! :applause:

18. He's the ONLY candidate who proposes the kind of course correction we
need to start undoing the damage caused by 8 years of Reagan, 4 years of Bush Sr., 8 years of Clinton excessive compromising and triangulation, and 8 years of Bush Jr.
