Petreaus' big report.

Biden saying he has alot of contacts there, and he wants to see and hear for himself what is going on.
So when the report comes out.... Biden is ready.

2. Any of these guys who go to those places...
If they don't go out into the boonies, live with the grunts for a month at some godforsaken and benighted FOB, eating MRE's, shitting in a #10 can and dodging RPG's, sniper rounds, heavy machine gun fire and incoming mortars, get only what "The Uncle Happy General Show" blows up their asses.

Hence, they knoweth not, unto shit.

3. Yes and no -
If the generals on the ground are willing to talk to you, as some of the troops, you can get some good info.

Better to get it from them then Petraeus imho.

8. Biden should invite John Murtha to tag along.
I understand Murtha has some trustworthy contacts, too.

9. I honestly don't know who is going with him.
I just heard him talk about his trip when C-Span was broadcasting one
of his campaign stops in Iowa yesterday.
