With Rove's departure.. the only thing that would get the GOP on the right track...
Edited on Mon Aug-13-07 09:53 AM by Perky
In the last two years

Delay has been indicted and left disgraced
Ralph Reed has left The CHristian Coalition is in utter disarray and has shown himself to be a hypocritical neophyte
Jerry Falwell has died
Ad Now Rove has resigned

The whole republican machine had broken down on a side track. the only one capable;e of putting it back on the right track was rove and now he is leaving.

The religious base is splintered, fiscal conservatives just roll there eyes at Bushco. No one thinks we are winning in Iraq ALl there leading presidential candidates are moderates, and they have lost Reagan Democrats over immigration

Rove's departure signals just hope hopeless this thing has become.

The only thing that would bring the GOP back together is if Hillary is the nominee.

2. "The only thing that would bring the GOP vack together is if Hillary is the nominee."
What are some of you afraid of if Hillary is the nominee?

10. Shove off! If you expect me to think differently
Edited on Mon Aug-13-07 11:43 AM by lynnertic
Why don't you offer a reason for me to do so?

This is what people are afraid of. If you want H* to win, then overcome the objection.

7. Nothing. They're not sexist.
It's just her policies (which are so similar to the policies of our male candidates but Hillary is worse, SO MUCH WORSE, yeah, that's the ticket.)

3. I hope you're right.....
But I feel about KKKarl the way I feel about Jason from "Friday the 13th" or Michael Meyers from "Halloween": You can't kill him! He'll always come back, axe in hand.

5. So he's not going to help the R presidential candidates?
That would be why I think he'd leave the WH

(or that he's about to get arrested).

6. I think he'll be working for the GOP nominee.
It'll be great timing for a Labor Day announcement from Fred Thompson.

9. Maybe your candidate Obama ought to have a shot at it.
After he has the republican mentality. He slams and bashes Hillary at ever chance and the republicans have been doing that for years.

11. Yeah ...well the GOP knows a thing or two about running an election
and having an "I want to win" mentality is far better than the Demopcrratic standarbearer of the last 8 years. Give me a liberal candidate like Obama wit some Republican swagger readt to mix it up with wishy-washy moderates like Hillary ANYTIME.
