4. I don't get it - aren't slander/libel laws stiffer in UK?
I thought the British Press held off reporting nasty rumors about Prince Charles - but they can go off on US politicians with no factual basis?

6. Maybe Kerry should sue Richard Perle?
He is on the board of directors of Hollinger and they do own the Telegraph? Especially since Perle threatened to sue Seymour Hersh for a story he wrote, except the big difference was Hersh was telling the truth.
