Dean Announces National Chairman Is Out
MILWAUKEE - Howard Dean (news - web sites) shook up his campaign for the second time in just over two weeks, revealing that national chairman Steve Grossman is out, as John Kerry (news - web sites) looked to cement his front-runner status for the Democratic presidential nomination.

In a stunning disclosure to reporters in advance of an appearance in La Crosse, Wis., Dean said he had not talked to Grossman since publication of remarks in which Grossman said he expected the former Vermont governor to curtail his campaign if he fails to win in Wisconsin.

"I have not talked to him since this came out in the newspaper," Dean said. "I'll speak for the campaign."

Grossman, in an interview with The Associated Press, said, "When Howard Dean says he's not going to quit, what he means is the battle to restore democracy and citizen participation is long-term and he's not going to quit on that battle."

1. Grossman needs to shut his mouth
if he wants to work on another campaign again, IMO. His interview with the AP was "like school in the summertime... NO CLASS."

2. What a jerk.
He was on the phone with Blizer on CNN and he was saying how he would do anything Dean needed him to do...how about finishing what he started.

4. Good for Dean
Cripes, with "friends" like that, who needs enemies?

Grossman has no class, talking about his boss like that behind his back. He better go back to AIPAC, because he's untouchable as far as Democrats go.

Don't let them forget YOU are the campaign. I hope Kerry tells this jerk he's not welcome either!
