CA Sen Sheila Kuehl has endorsed Hillary Clinton
Sen. Hillary Clinton got some good news as she lands in California today: State Senator Sheila Kuehl has endorsed her candidacy and a new Rasmussen poll shows her with a strong leader.

Kuehl's endorsement is huge. She is perhaps the most progressive Senator in the state and the leading voice on health care reform. The endorsement comes on the day of the LGBT debate in LA today.

"Our country is ready for change and I strongly believe Hillary Clinton is the candidate with the experience to lead our nation forward," said Kuehl in a Clinton campaign press release. "I have confidence Hillary Clinton will represent all Americans and all communities and I am proud to support her candidacy."

This is a big one for Clinton in CA.

Kuehl has been a force in seeking single payer health care in CA.

2. like her or not
how amazing is it that we now live in a time when a woman is being considered a serious candidate for President. Again, like her or not, it's pretty cool.

5. Sheila's my state senator.
Damn term limits!

I just love her. At pride this year when her car pulled up in the parade she got probably one of the loudest ovations. She touched heart and I could see she was getting teary.

8. She's an impressive public servant.
Well...perhaps after the state senate...maybe Congress. :-)

This is a very good endorsement for Senator Clinton.

11. Waxman would have to retire.
I don't see that happening. Shelia's been a great Assemblywoman and State Senator. I really would like to see her run for another office. Term limits have really screwed us in California.

12. Oh...I didn't know who your Congressman was.

No, I'm not anxious for one of the best people in Congress to retire anytime soon.

Perhaps Senator Kuehl could run for another state office. She's needed in public service.

13. She might live in a different Congressional dist.
I'm not sure. The districts for the state offices are not the same as the federal ones.
