Should we pursue the Robin Lowman story?? (if they push the Kerry Affair)
http://www.bartcop.com/bort.htm

For those of you who don't know who Robin Lowman is, she is allegedly the once underage girlfriend of George W. Bush. Back in 1971, Bush knocked her up and used his family's influence to arrange for an illegal abortion.

Larry Flynt was the one who dug up this information and as much as Larry Flynt can be 'way too far out there', he also successfully dug up the dirt on heir apparent to Gingrich Bob Livingston. Turns out Mr. Family Man Bob Livingston had several illicit affairs on his wife. Larry Flynt dug up this dirt right before the vote to make Livingston the replacement for Newt Gingrich as Speaker of the House.

Personally I see this whole Kerry affair as the repukes trying to overshadow the press coverage of Bush's National Guard issues. And the repukes are looking back into history and using the same tactics that they used on Clinton - find any girl out there who wasn't Kerry's wife and spent more than 10 minute alone with Kerry and toss the word sex into it.

Who knows how long this story will fly, but while reading the Yahoo message boards it seems that those nutty repukes keep harping on and on that Kerry raped Alex and paid off the family to hide the details. I suspect that this is 99.999999999999999999999995% fallacy but repukes feel if you repeat something enough times folks will actually believe it.

I bring this topic up because for 4 years I always felt that the Bush National Guard/AWOL story was becoming more of an Urban Legend since NOBODY out there actually had the balls to force the issue. But maybe democrats were just playing it safe by holding on to the story until it could make an affect for the 2004 elections. Maybe that's just a bad excuse but I'm glad we finally brought this topic to the headlines and we now have the proof - Bush was AWOL. Just need to get the press to start using AWOL in more headlines :D.

So if the Kerry affair story doesn't die out, should we start asking questions about the illegal abortion that Bush helped provide an underage girl in 1971? What are your thoughts on this topic?

5. I know we've and the mainstream media has put the issue to rest...
but that doesn't mean that the rightwing repukes won't keep bringing it up over and over again in hopes that something will catch on.

One thing you can say about repukes - they are as tenacious as a rabid dog. They won't quit even if we clear up every angle of the story.

2. I say if the pigs are going to set the terms, then we've got to have an
equal playing ground. I know it sounds ugly. I have mixed feelings about this. But you can't go to battle against semi-automatics if all you've got are six-shooters and expect to win.

3. Yes, and how about Tammy Phillips, too?
From a thread last Friday:

Tammy Phillips, the woman in question, supposedly co-owned a gym in Carrollton, TX, at the time. In a possibly related development, this announcement was made just last month:

Press Release Source: Weight Loss Forever International, Inc.

Tammy Phillips Fitness Joins Ranks of Weight Loss Forever
Tuesday January 27, 6:15 am ET

HEATHROW, Fla., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Weight Loss Forever International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WFLI - News) today announced the formation of Tammy Phillips Fitness Group LLC, which acquired 100% of Tammy Phillip Fitness Boot Camps, including all intellectual properties, programs, company trademarks, logos and other copyrighted materials. Tammy Phillips and WLFI will each own 50% of the new company. WLFI will be the owner of all franchising rights. Now in its fourth year of operation, the Tammy Phillips Boot Camp program has graduated over 5,000 recruits, mostly in Virginia. There are currently five franchises conducting 6-8 classes a day, with a 92% customer renewal record.

-snip-

Tammy Phillips, a former personal trainer and sports conditioner, nutritionist, yoga and pilates instructor, strength and rehabilitation coach, and founder and President of Tammy Phillips' Boot Camps echoed the same content saying, "This partnership can give the company instant national visibility. The depth and reach of the WLFI organization affords us a new array of tactical options for expanding our franchise territories." Phillips' driving mental motivation, and dedication to living life in top physical condition have been the inspiration for most of the boot camp's participants to succeed.

The rest of the press release is at http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040127/fltu019a_1.html

Is this a different Tammy Phillips? I have no idea. At the very least, though, it's a stunning coincidence.

Here are a few paragraphs from the 2000 Enquirer story:

But with less than a year to go to the 2000 election, the first big sexual broadside has been fired at the Bush bandwagon by 35-year-old Tammy Phillips, a partner in a gym in Carrollton, Tex.

As an ENQUIRER team looked into her bombshell claims, we learned that Tammy is a former stripper, who began dancing in clubs when she was only 14. She claims she was introduced to Gov. Bush by her uncle, a prominent Republican, in early December 1997 during a political function at a hotel in Midland, Tex.

"I was wearing a tiny miniskirt -- and it was instant combustion," she told The ENQUIRER.

Tammy alleges that she and Gov. Bush made passionate love that very day before leaving the hotel.

4. If Bush continues to push for restricting the right to choose,
Edited on Mon Feb-16-04 02:58 PM by Jade Fox
this story will inevitably come out. And that's a shame, because Robin Lowman
has the right to her privacy about this.

Ironically, it may come out because of the Republicans. I read an article in
USA Today on Saturday where the head of the committe to re-elect Bush (?)
was expressing preditable shock (shock!) that there are people talking about
this on Right-to-Life websites. If the Republicans keep bringing it up, the press
will start asking questions leaving Bush the following choices:
1) Tell the truth (now stop laughing)
2) Lie, which will leave him in a position of vulnerability if Lowman comes forward
3) Stone-wall, which will make him look like he has something to hide
