Poll question: Re: Kerry smear. Should Drudge be considered a reliable source at DU?
I say no. This is not the first time this right wing hack has has done this. But I think we should put a stop to it now. The less hits we give his trash sight the less money he has to trash our chances of getting rid of Bush.

2. Al Sharpton has yet to shake off the "Tawana Brawley" stigma because he
failed to "consider the source" of information.

4. I'm very reliable
In the sense that now you'll know better than to believe me. If there's one thing you can count on from the Drudge Report, it's shoddy reporting, hype, lies, vitriol and some libel and slader for good measure. I do hope you'll continue to visit me, and I apologize for any hurt that I may have caused you.

God bless you, your family, and everyone you hold dear.

Warm Regards,
Matt

7. Not reliable, but relevant to discussion
what does truth have to do with it? Politics is full of lies & smears that really really work, and we have to confront that.

Poll question: Do you want to ban rightwing links/sources on DU GD2004?
Moderator (1000+ posts) Fri Feb-13-04 09:21 PM
Response to Original message

2. The GD: 2004 rules already address RW sources

7. You may not post any material from extreme right-wing sources, specifically WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax.com, FreeRepublic.com, and their ilk. Material from more "mainstream" conservative writers or sources, such as The Washington Times and Fox News, are permitted as long as the post includes a clear warning about the source. (For example: "WARNING: Please note that this article is written by George Will.")

We don't hold votes on these types of things unless the admins decide to do so themselves. Therefore I'm locking this thread.
