Poll question: What are the odds of Al Gore entering the race by fall?
With the bickering and infighting going on in the Dem Party, what do you think of Al Gore's chances at this point?

8. Whether we like it or not she's being shoved down our throats
Republican light or republican...Not a tough decision, but what the f***s matter with a real progressive? Can't we show this country what a real progressive can do???

2. I'm feeling hopeless today.
Al Gore is the candidate that I could back 100%. My perspective right now is that things are grim with the Democratic party, but it might just be that my medications need adjusting. The future is bleak.

3. AL knows the fix is in again
We live in an oligarchy, not a democracy. The Bushes keep the Repugs happy and the Clintons keep the blind Democrats happy.

4. I don't know....

...I can't think of any alternative BUT Al Gore running at this point.

He is my only hope, and in my opinion--the only hope our country has of restoring
democracy, the Constitution, our civil rights, and stopping this Fascist train
wreck that is gaining major momentum.

If Obama or Hillary win--we have lost our country--because they will continue
to perpetuate the wars and serve their corporate masters. Nothing will change.
In fact, the situation will worsen, because it will become clearly apparent
that there is no-two party system and that our country has been stolen.

I will assume that the America in which we have all grown up---is dead.

I can't imagine raising our family here. I truly fear for my children.

5. It's a bit late. Most Gore supporters will be OK with...
Edwards, Obama or even.... the other one.

7. Really?
I would love for Gore supporters...who would support Hillary...to please check in here.

I want Gore because I fear Hillary. Anyone but her. Gore is everything she's not and
Gore lacks her bought-and-paid-for status and her warmongering ways.

15. Understood. I mean "ok with" as in "will vote for"...
... if she's nominated. *Vote for*, and not much more.

In order to keep the unreconstructed barbarians of the other party out of the WH.

It'll be our 'reconstructed' barbarian vs. the pure form 'movement' conservatives of the other side.

Not a happy choice; but an easy one, seems to me.

17. Speak for yourself ...
I will not be happy with any of them.

Although if Edwards gets the nomination at least I won't need Valium and Pepto Bismol before I go to vote on election day.

21. Not this one!
Not sure who you mean by "the other one", but Kucinich is the only one I'd vote for if Al doesn't enter the race.

9. 10%. I think he'd like to do something in
another Clinton administration. Though there has to still be a part of him that wants the top spot.

10. I could be wrong....
....but I suspect that Al Gore has been out of the DC loop for several years--and that he
sees the corruption and evil for what it is.

I think he's an outsider now---looking in at what has happened in the past 7 years--and
shaking his head in disgust and disbelief.

I can't imagine Gore pairing up with Hillary. Gore has gone one way, and Hillary seems
to have grown more entrenched in her corporatism, cronyism and warmongering.

11. Your question is worded so that some confusion may come up.
First you ask what are the odds that Gore will enter the race by fall. Then you ask what are his chances. What do you mean by what are HIS chances? Do you mean what are his chances that he will enter the race? If so it should be worded: what are THE chances he'll enter the race.

Anyway I think he will enter the race and I think he will be our next president.
