bush loving lunatics who call in to talk radio
This morning heard a dunderhead call into a local call in show on fox radio out of New Orleans. The question, is America ready for a female president? One of the unwashed called in saying how evil and powerful and influential HOLLYWOOD was and is and how it was brainwashing everybody to be liberal zombies. The host asked him who he would support for president. The bush lover said our greatest president came from HOLLYWOOD so he thought that backing Fred Thompson would be a good idea.

Because of right wing talk radio and eight years of bush are we seeing intelligent design in reverse?

4. The loss of the Fairness doctrine is the reason
The loss of The Fairness Doctrine is the very reason we have these criminals in office right now. The only impediment to truth is the corporate media. This lack of truth in the public airwaves is the most pressing issue we face.

5. But their plan worked
the death of the fairness doctrine gave birth to limbaugh and other lesser vermin. And now, in a continuation of their plan, the talking point is "the return of the fairness doctrine will be the death of the first amendment." A skeptical sumbitch like me who really, really likes the constitution might think its all planned.

Which do neocons fear more?

- The reinstatement of the fairness doctrine
- Swearing to tell the truth
- The truth

C'mon lurkers jump right in here and let me know.

10. Absolutely. Whose freedom of speech is really being denied?
And over their own airwaves to boot!

3. That caller's mentality should answer a few questions about the political climate in Louisiana...

-- Why a very physically-active, former computer-challenged person, with 2 draft-age sons, like me would seek out information for the past 6 years about what is really going on in our government, because the subject is impossible to discuss where I live; and

-- Not defending her, but this is why Mary Landrieu has voted with the Rethugs: she thinks she can hold onto her job by voting the way they want her to vote (does she get a lot of input from the Faux News zombies?). I have news for her: the Rethug constituency despises the Landrieus & a lot of Mary's base has been displaced out of the state. She is a big focus for the Rethugs, considering Cheney himself came down here to campaign against her in 2002. And I have to laugh when I remember how Mary warned in her speeches that David Vitter would be a rubberstamper for Bush.

After the NSA vote, I'm wondering what in the hell is going on that we don't know about. Something's rotten & I'm wondering if anything can or will be done about it.

6. Well now Boss

It just may be there are some very confused poor misguided souls out there that truely are in need of teaching. It is not always the fault of the individual where blind stupidity is more often than not expressed.

In my years of service I found those of certain educational shortcommings were only to subject to the wrong kind of influences-all of their lives.
We made it our jobs to bring them around.

Most people don,t really know how much of a actor Bush is,He,s just like you ,he,s just like me- That guy they seem to like. One would almost have to be a actor or playwright to see threw the guy.
The hell, he probably remembers watching Hop Along Cassity and The Lone Ranger on saturday mornings back there in the television world of black and white way back when.

That,s the guy they think Goerge Bush is.Why you almost wouldn,t know he,s a Bush.
Thats what makes a good actor- you see you know-but you just have to believe what you see.
The actors in the play make you confused because the play mirror,s real life. Or at some point you are not sure it,s a act.

Mabe it,s our job to show them what is real and what is not real.
As it is, Bush seems to have a way about making those who truely have serious shortcommings feel a part of the flock.

I am just not so sure bashing their stupidity is the right way about it.

8. Hello My Friend
I could attempt a rational treatise about my point of view that bush lovers are ignorant trash and bashing is a valid way to oppose. However, I'd rather you just read post number seven.

They dont want to listen to the likes of me. They don't want to know the truth, because they are too damned proud to admit they are wrong on so many subjects. In fact, they are proud of their ignorance. It is a conservative value.

7. So many of these people are so far gone, they are hopeless
These bush bots are so used to rush and hannity telling them what to think, that I truly believe they are no longer capable of independent, rational thought.
