Wonderings and opinions......We need to figure out why there are at least 41 and possibly 5 more
Benedict Arnolds in the democratic congress....what are their motives in calling themselves democrats WHEN THEY CLEARLY ARE NOT?

Some questions, semi questions, and opinionated musings

1. Could they ever have been elected on a republican ticket? duh! no they are not frothing at the mouth fascist uglypug enough to gain admittance into that bible thumping gaggle of hypocrites.

2. The cover of running under the democratic banner gives them a platform to carry out an uglypug M.O. in the shadows sullying the democratic party reputation.

3. Could it be that this is a clever ruse by the uglypugs to divide and conquer the dems: Backing (as in holey Joe) these duplicitous bastards WITH MONEY AND ELECTION FRAUD to make sure they get elected as democrats to torpedo any progress and help uglypugs get their FASCIST agenda passed UNDER THE DEM FLAG.

Another big question I have is would we be better off making them run on their true colors by loudly calling them out as pugs (meaning of course they would lose but perhaps dilute the pug vote) and running real true color dems in their place or at least against them as others have suggested, even if we lose. We clearly do not have control of congress with these Trojan horses and false flags in office and it seems a fools errand to pretend we do, giving us a lot of blame for the treasonous war and these idiotic fascist unconstitutional policies that are passed each time by the weight of the poisonous false flag 41 and the abstainers and bringing the poll no.s way down for the dem congress and wrecking its overall reputation as a party of and for the people. THE CAMELS BACK HAS BEEN BROKEN....the last straw and all that.

1. Hi Ooglymoogly...
It seems to me as an outsider that over there in the US you (the Democratic grassroots) certainly have far more opportunity through your primary election system to choose the best candidates to truly represent your core values....In that regard you're quite lucky, we don't have such primaries here in Britain.

I've read a few threads like this now, and i'd certainly be supportive of, and would help out with such a strategy as many of you seem to be advocating if I had a voice in that process.

Good luck to you (all advocating such a strategy), and wishing you well.

2. Thanx for the good words.....we need all the help we can get.
and further there are no outsiders....this blasphemy that has stolen our government is turning the entire world upside down...we all, fellow travelers on this planet, have a stake in this even if it can be only moral support....a real surge is taking place as people wake up from their Paris Hilton dreams to realize they are about to lose everything.

3. They are really republicans. I keep telling you.
Funny how all these "blue dogs" came together right away. Funny how bush called them to the white house. I will bet that they got elected posing as democrats with the help of rove and the white house. NO damn wonder they didn't care that the democrats were supposed to have taken over the House. They knew they had all those republicans posing as dems.

4. Have you bothered to actually compare the overall record of these "Benedict Arnolds"
to the voting record of a typical repub member of the House?

Take, for example, Melissa Bean: She voted for the bill establishing a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq (the bill chimpy vetoed); she has a stellar record on environmental issues, including opposing drilling at ANWR and supporting the extension of the clean air and clean water legislation; she voted for the minimum wage increase; she supports funding for stem cell research. Last year she received a rating of 100% from NARAL. Does she cast votes with which I strongly disagree? Yes. But calling her and other similarly inclined BLue Dogs "traitors" or "Benedict Arnolds" and suggesting that they are really repubs merely demonstrates ignorance of their actual voting records.

5. well thats rich....comparing bills clearly to be vetoed
and which are important but pale in comparison to shredding the constitution. Politicians know how to work the system. What she did and the others in rubber stamping the FISA and other very important legislation that goes directly to our very freedoms as written and meant by or founding fathers is downright unforgivable and goes directly to dismantling the constitution and no amount of posture votes and padding ones rep at no cost when bills are going to be vetoed anyway. Perhaps you could tell me what legislation that benefits the people and not the pugs or at least does no harm to the pugs has actually been passed....this is a page out of holey Joes politics 101. Pad your voting record when it is of no import but when the real agenda is threatened vote with the pug machine. No none of these people get a pass on this astoundingly callous and shortsighted legislation in my book....I will make dart boards of them...I spit on them...ptoooy
