I salute you, Dr. Dean!
You are a tremendous voice for change within our party, and your fighting spirit at a time when many of us were discouraged and disillusioned remains a bold testament to the difference that one brave and principled man can make in a difficult situation; where we only saw defeat, ruin and ashes, you rallied us to the cause we must ALL rally to--- defeating George Bush and his gang of thugs!

My best wishes to you, Dr., and to your supporters!

Salut! :toast:

7. Doouble Amen!!!
Just heard the pundits say that money is the only thing that matters in politics that's why Bush will win because he has all the money.

This is invective for all of us to get at least 10 new voters registered for this election. I am mad as hell!!!

4. Hmmmm..
Gee, I don't get this feeling, more that things are as they always were, the media is picking all the candidates, and will determine the final result for most, perhaps not those on this board, but for a lot of folks who couldn't tell a computer from a stereo.

Hard to tell which is more important, Campaign finance reform, or the breaking up of this highly consolodated brainwashing media. Think about how often you turn to all of the cable channels, and they all have exactly the same coverage on. Is that right? Do you really have choice just because there are a lot of channels, if they are showing relatively the same opinions and spin? I don't think so.

A further saturation of the Internet, and a broadening realization by our population that the news media is just the mouthpiece for huge corporate conglomerates, the very same that are moving jobs away, and influenced opinion during the Clinton years that it was all going to be all right. Of course now, and probably for the next 30 years, Americans will suffer greatly at the hands of this glommed media spittle.

Even if all this is true, how is it appropriate to this thread?
