Why I want Kucinich, Sharpton, Dean and Edwards in the race...
While I think Kerry has all but locked up the nomination and I will support his campaign for the Presidency, I want all of the remaining candidates to continue onwards. Why? Because, was was shown by Kucinich and Sharpton last night, they can say things in a public forum that would be incredibly difficult for the nominee himself to say. Kucinich flat out called Bush a liar, as did Sharpton. At this point in the game, Kerry, Edwards and Dean really can't get away with so blatant a charge. I would love to see this kind of thing follow right through to the convention. Continue to attack Bush's credibility and continue to hammer him on the war, the economy, AWOL, etc.

While Kerry cannot say that he thinks Bush has Bin Laden in a hole somewhere, just waiting for an October surprise, Kucinich can certainly say it. Bring it into the minds of the people. If Dean were to decide his campaign is over he could make a nice splash talking about these kinds of things. Just put the idea in the heads of the American public so when Rove and the bush criminal gang come out with their "surprise" it fools no one. Then Kerry can say "It's amazing that Governor Dean predicted this back in July"

I'm also still waiting on the attack dogs to go after Rove himself. This guy has gotten away with too much for too long. It's time to knock him down a notch and put him on his heels. They have already begun to show that they can't take what they dish out. I think Krazy Karl will implode if pushed personally.

1. We have to go after Rove
The main stream press is making noises about him. I think they know what a jerk bush is but cannot go after bush because they will lose their jobs. Every once in a while Katie on the today show says something and then mentions losing her job. I think they are told what to say and to go easy on the cash cow that is bush. Less taxes more profit.

2. I agree with your reasons
Plus, it's one of the best ways to keep the Dem message front and center in the media as well. Once the competition is gone, they will be back to covering the maladministration 24/7 unless there is a scandal. We need these candidates to stay in. Anyone who hasn't thought that this is a benefit hasn't looked at what's happened to Bush's unpopularity numbers in the last two months.
