Kerry fights for liberal causes and average people
period.

He has voted with Kennedy 95% of the time.

He actually explains his votes. Don't like the IWR? He doesn't like the way it was implemented either. He wouldn't have taken this country to war the way chimpy did.

Don't want to vote Democratic in November because your first choice didn't make it?

Don't.

I am sick of reading all the whiny posts on here that say something to the effect that if XXXX candidate doesn't get the nomination, then "I'm" not going to vote at all or go Green.

Go ahead.

If you can live with your decision for four more years of pure hell,

go ahead.

Vote your conscience, and see what that gets you. I say your conscience is warped.

A draft? Another war or two? How many in your family will have to go and fight and possibly die because whatever candidate you fell in love with didn't make the grade so you didn't vote?

4. Kerry has said that he doesn't think a draft is needed at this time

He does believe that he will do a better job of running the crusade and implementing current US foreign policy.

Even if the US deploys its Israeli assets in Syria, Iran is a much larger country, with a larger population, and there is little indication that they will welcome colonization.

While Kerry is not alone in his belief that other countries will send their sons to secure America's natural resources around the globe if their leaders are given enough money and a share of those resources, and he may indeed be able to buy his 40,000 from outsources, but he is only talking about Iraq.

Neither Iran nor Syria have had 12 years of sanctions, nor has their infrastructure been pre-destroyed.

While a draft may not be popular with all voters, and even some military commanders may grumble about being given a fighting force of barely-trained conscripts who do not wish to be there, it is hard to imagine how resources can be secured in Iran and Syria without a draft.

5. He's not helping with BBV
He backs pre-emptive war for 'developing' threats (not imminent).

No thanks.

6. understand your frustration;
one thing I don't get is people saying they will not vote for someone because they don't like a few of that candidates supporters. I don't know, never made sense to me.

7. Voting with Kennedy 95% of the time is a plus?
I don't think so outside of Massachusetts. He votes for the IWR, then
he's against the war. It looks more like he sits back to see which
way the wind was blowing to take sides. He claims to be a life long hunter and wants gun control. He is a war hero and opposes it when he gets home. He's for American workers and supports NAFTA. He wants a strong military then votes again the weapons systems that helped us win the wars.
