3. But...but..he's inexperienced
He screwed up in the debate. South Carolinians didn't watch it. They were busy shopping. Serious.

4. I'm not one of them...but I wonder if those who denigrate ARG...
As a sham polling service will come out of the woodwork now...

7. I don't denigrate polls, I like them. I think they give us a good view of what's going on.
I don't take them that seriously though. I think we are a long ways away, and anything can happen.

This might be good for Obama now, but it might be good for Edwards or Hillary next month.

10. As a fellow polling nut, here's some more nuggets from ARG
"Hillary Clinton leads John Edwards 29% to 22% among men and 31% to 20% among women in Iowa. Barack Obama leads Clinton 36% to 24% among men in New Hampshire while Clinton leads Obama 36% to 27% among women in New Hampshire. Clinton and Obama are tied at 30% each among men in South Carolina and Obama leads Clinton 35% to 28% among women in South Carolina."

This is from the ARG website.

A good note for Obama is that he is beating Clinton among women. Something I have yet to see him do in any poll.

Like you, I have never seen a poll that has Obama ahead of Hillary with women. She easily holds that demographic in the other two states. What is it about South Carolinian women, I wonder.

11. ARG predicted winner of 45 out of 50 candidates in '04 presidential election
Edited on Tue Jul-31-07 01:39 PM by antiimperialist
In the battleground states, it got 9 out of 14 states right, while Gallup got a similar 8 out of 12 right.
