Howard Dean may help Democrats get elected to Congress.
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/national/AP-Dean.html?hp

"Officials said they are discussing ways to use Dean's network to help elect Democrats to Congress, action that effectively, but not directly, support Kerry's agenda as president. Scores of campaigns aides were making plans to leave their jobs after Tuesday."

1. Well, that's a terrific idea!
And a good way of supporting the nominee without actually having to support him, if ya know what I mean.

2. I am vying for a Deaniac / Clarkista network co-op
Just imagine the power of grass-roots punching out to take Congress back... Especially in Congressional guerrilla warfare, grass-roots are very effective.

Much moreso than in GE, where brute force (exposure, Big Money) has more of an advantage.

4. IA great way to put grassroots to use
Even if Dean drops out, I hope his network stays intact to help Congressional candidates, and hopefully to help Kerry, or whomever gets nominated.

8. This would be better than IA.
Way better. In IA, you had a bunch of college kids and whoever else could afford to be gone for a week. In your own congressional district, you have EVERYONE. All the Deanies, even middle-aged ones with day jobs, kids, and mortgages like me, fighting to replace the Republicans who let Tom Delay own the government.

5. Dean is a team player
In the end he will support Kerry and he will work for the party. Timing is everything and his time may well yet come.

9. Well, we did it once before, in Iowa.
May as well keep up the trend.
